Hotels & Restaurants’ Hit Highest Inflation With 62.4%

T he Consumer Price Index of “hotels and restaurants” stood at 405.3 in the eighth Iranian month from Oct. 23 to Nov. 21 stood at 405.3, indicating a 62.4% year-on-year rise and marking the highest among 12 groups of goods and services monitored by the Statistical Center of Iran.

The average CPI of “hotels and restaurants” in the 12-month period ending Nov. 21, which marks the end of the eighth Iranian month of fiscal 2021-22, increased by 56.4% compared to the average of the corresponding period of last year.
